VVBGA Listserv

The listserv is only for members of the VVBGA.

The purpose of the listserv is to help growers help one another with practical farming issues. You can read a full description of the listserv use here.

Key points in using the listserv:

  • Keep the messages to farming topics that benefit the community (e.g. buying and selling equipment, plants, produce, and supplies; sharing knowledge about practices, equipment and products; experience dealing with farm management issues).
  • Do not post political messages, survey requests, or local meeting announcements.
  • Do not reply to the entire list! Send replies only to the original sender, who should then compile all replies and send out a single email with a clear subject line, e.g. "responses to question about abc".

Sending an email to the listserv:

  • To send a message to everyone on the list, email it to: vtvegandberry@list.uvm.edu
  • Please use the subject line with key words.
  • Before posting a question to the list, please check the archive to see if your question has already been answered
  • Include your farm location. This is necessary when selling items and helpful for other requests.

Accessing Listserv Archives

  • There is an archive of messages by month, and they are listed by subject matter line. You can view these at: http://list.uvm.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=vtvegandberry. If you want to be removed from the listserv, you can still see the messages by going to that link.
  • Click here for instructions on searching the listserv archives.
