Commercial Membership is for businesses and organizations that provide services or products relevant to vegetable, berry and other horticultural farms in the Northeast.
Once you create an account and join, you can easily make changes to your business/organization information, and renew your membership in future years. Commercial members must be logged into your dashboard in order to pay or renew your membership dues.
Memberships for businesses and organizations start at $125/year and includes an ad in the January VVBGA Annual Meeting booklet, if submitted by the end of the prior calendar year.
In early fall you can reserve exhibit tables, buy tickets and become a sponsor of the Annual Meeting held in January. After completing the membership form you will have the option to pay online securely via PayPal or mail a check to the VVBGA.
VVBGA Commercial Membership Benefits
- Recognition of your business or organization on the VVBGA commercial member directory, viewable by all VVBGA members and the public.
- Access to VVBGA listserv with over 1,000 subscribers (you provide email(s), optional).
- An advertisement in our annual meeting booklet made available to approximately 200 growers and posted on the vvbga.org website. (1/4 page included with $125 membership, 1/2 page with $175 membership, full page with $225 membership)
- The option to have an exhibitor table at the annual meeting, for an additional $150.
- The option to set out a box of catalogs at no charge at the annual meeting, if not exhibiting.
- Sponsorship opportunities to promote your business/organization as described below.
Sponsorship funds help keep meeting registration fees affordable for growers. Sponsorship funds also support research and education aimed at enhancing the economic, environmental and social sustainability of commercial vegetable and berry production in Vermont and the region.
The VVBGA Board of Directors is responsible for reviewing and approving sponsorship requests. The Board reserves the right to turn down sponsorship requests from any business or organization deemed to provide products or services which are outside the range of interests of the majority of the VVBGA membership.
$2,000 SPONSORSHIP - PLATINUM LEVEL
Platinum sponsors will be listed first in annual meeting promotions, including press releases, newsletter announcements, listserv emails, and signage at the annual meeting. Your logo will be placed on the annual meeting booklet cover, and on the annual meeting website. Your sponsorship will be recognized publicly on the screen, at the top, at the annual meeting during the President’s address, during breaks, and during the association’s business meeting. You will receive
• a complimentary full-page ad in the annual meeting booklet.
• two complimentary exhibit tables in the annual meeting trade show.
• four complimentary registrations for the annual meeting, including meals.
$1,000 SPONSORSHIP - GOLD LEVEL
Gold sponsors will be listed in annual meeting promotions, including press releases, newsletter announcements, listserv emails, and signage at the annual meeting. Ads can be sent electronically to vvbga@uvm.edu. Please send images as a high-resolution jpeg or PDF file. To ensure inclusion in the annual report, ads for the annual meeting booklet are due by the end of December. If received after that date we cannot guarantee ads will be included in the printed report.
